Went on Hiatus for past two weeks for Exam Break. Finally, I finished all my papers for this semester! It wasn’t easy but it wasn’t hard either. Anyway! Back to my article about my Japan Trip last year. Gonna finished the trip post ASAP as i had another one travel post coming up 😀
On Day Seventh, We went to Yokohama. It will be a one day trip there. 1st venue we went is Sea Paradise in Yokohama. I heard that it is a very beautiful location so i somehow managed to convince my friends to visit this place.
We took the Sea Side line at Shin-Sugita Station towards Hakkeijima station. The Sea Side Line works like the LRT in Singapore but faster.
Upon alighting, it took us around 10 minutes on foot to reach Sea Paradise. It was such a sunny day that fit just nice to the cold temperature!! At least, it kept us warm for abit? haha. But the wind was very strong!!
I guess Sea Paradise is a theme park? with lots of thrilling rides too.. Especially that tower below…. While looking at it, it scares me 😦
Reached the aquarium… Wee… It was my first time visiting Aquarium in Japan. So excited. There are two price plan. One is just the aquarium, another one is aquarium plus unlimited rides in the Park. Since 3 out of 4 does not really want to sit on the rides, so we purchased the aquarium ticket only.
Big Whale in the tank with lots of divers cleaning the tank. Apparently that tank will be used for performance later on.
I don’t think there is a need for me to type out what i feel for each animal or fish. So just enjoy the pictures 😀
After finishing the tour in the Aquarium, it was time for the performance!! It is much more entertaining compared to the one in Singapore Zoo but oh well.. In Singapore, there is underwater world but i can’t recall anything about it since the last time i visited underwater world when i was around 9 years old.
With the aquarium ticket, we can also visit the dolphin lagoon and there was this giant stone fish in one of the tank.
Next, we proceeded to Umi Farm, This is included in the Aquarium Ticket too. There is nothing much in this area unless u want to go for fishing.
The Last location for the Aquarium Ticket access is Fureal Lagoon. In the place, we are able to have some interaction with the animals there 😀 So sweet… but we didn’t get the chance to do so due to the animal doesn’t “like” us!! Tsk
And since i was already at the theme park. I decided to take the Leviathan Surf Coaster which is not really scary while the rest waited for me at the shelter. The girls seated behind me were shouting at the top of their voice. =.=
After the ride, we took the train back to Minato Mirai. Ching Wen wanted to go to the Cup Noodle Museum and we went. While walking to the cup noodle museum, i saw another theme park. I think the theme park at minato mirai is cater for children. Maybe??
We reached the cup noodle museum. We bought the entrance ticket. and proceed with the tour in the building. There was a room for visitors to watch the history of cup noodle but we did’t stay long as we wanted to attend the cup noodle workshop.
There you go, the cup noodle workshop venue!! Everyone were busy designing their own cup noodle. So do i 😀
After designing the exterior of the cup, we proceeded to complete our cup with noodles, flavours and ingredients.
And tadah!! our own cup noodle design!!
After we left cup noodle museum, it was around 5:45pm as you can see from the picture below. Eugene and i decided to try the Vanish Coaster. It didn’t really vanish but to a tunnel which lead to another entrance… errr… DUH??
Visited Yokohama Pokemon Center when you are in japan is a must!! haha… bought my new iphone 5S casing and screen protector. Love it!! Bought three lizardon figuring back. How to resist not buying anything when i visiting pokemon center? haha
Before heading back to shinjuku, we headed to the Hard Rock Cafe Shop. Jia ling wanted to buy shirt for her family. We tagged along too and i bought two shirt too. One for myself and one for my mum.
Original plan was to go Tokyo station to buy Souvenirs back but by the time we reached Tokyo Station, all the stalls had closed. So, We headed back to Shinjuku for our late Dinner. We planned to eat at some sukiyaki restaurant but somehow we were unable to find the place so we headed to Ichiran Ramen Shinjuku Outlet. This time round, i bought some noodles back too 😀
As we finished our dinner, Ching wen and i headed back to hotel first. Jia Ling and Eugene continued to hunt for Yakitori. I headed back early because i had to wake up around 4am to get ready for the AKB event the next day.
As for now!!
